Lets Get Practical!!

This issue is called a “Double Tap” which means a wire was connected to the circuit breaker after the panel was installed.  It’s potentially dangerous because it could become loose and begin to arch and cause a fire.  Although an electrician should be involved in correcting the problem we have attached a picture of the repair so our  customers know what it should look like and whats involved in fixing it.  It may not be something a homeowner will tackle on their own but at least there is a reference point of what needs to happen.
