YES I am a full time inspector. I do about 250-300 inspections a year and I am a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. No I have not seen it all! I see something new at least once a week. A good home inspector is always learning and always growing - you have to if you're going to be in this industry. If I don't know the answer to your question, I'll find out for you. PROMISE!

I am an intensely curious person. Always have been. I guess that’s why I like documentaries, read non-fiction and enjoy biographies. I have a masters degree but like the blue collar life. I drive a truck, lift weights and enjoy the great outdoors. I'm also a licensed general contractor and own Handy Home Repair handyhomerepair.biz.
I'll be honest about why I became a home inspector. I WANTED TO BE MY OWN BOSS! I like to help people too. I did sales for awhile but it wasn't a good fit. As an inspector I really can keep my customer's best interests in mind.
To do this work you have to be kind of rugged. Crawl spaces, spiders, wet roof tops, hot attics and dead rodents under the house. . .it doesn't bother me. I like to go places other people don't. I like seeing things no one else does.
I genuinely would like to offer you my knowledge and expertise in your next home purchase and count it a privilege to work with you.
